Awladna Soccer Club

Weekly soccer for boys and girls, ages 5 to 15, run by volunteer coaches. No tryouts, no cuts, nobody left on the bench.

01 The club

Awladna means أولادنا: our children. This club is for the kids in our community.

Coach Khalid and Coach Ayman started the club to give kids in our community a place to play and learn soccer. Every coach at Saturday practice is a volunteer.

Nearly eighty children have played with us, from beginners to experienced players. They practice together, and every child gets time on the field.

Along with learning the game, the kids build friendships with other Muslim children in the area.

02 A session

Ninety minutes,
start to finish.

Warm-up

Running, stretching, and ball work. Ten minutes to wake everyone up and get the legs going.

Skills

Dribbling, passing, first touch, finishing. Small groups so that every kid gets real touches instead of standing in a line.
03
Small-sided games

Short games in tight spaces help players use what they learned in the drills.

Match play

We balance the teams, then finish with a match where every child gets to play.

Bring Full soccer gear: cleats, shin guards, their own size 5 ball, and water.
Wear A soccer jersey if you have no uniform yet. Shorts for boys, long pants for girls.
Parents Stay with the younger ones. It settles them and they play better for it.
Volunteers Every coach is a volunteer. We need parents on the field to cover this many kids.

04 Where we play

Every Saturday 7:00 – 8:30 am

550 N Murphy Rd, Murphy, TX 75094

Look for the group with the cones out. Not sure where to go? Find Coach Khalid or Coach Ayman and they will put your kid straight into a group.

If PSA is booked We move to Breckinridge Field A, announced in the group beforehand.
Rain or holidays No practice. We always let you know ahead of time.
No weekly reminder Same time every Saturday, so nothing lands in your phone each week.

05 Joining

Sign your
kid up.

Boys and girls ages 5 to 15 can join. Fill in the registration form and send the registration fee by Zelle.

Uniforms: New club uniforms are on the way for every age group, $30 each. More news soon.
Bring a friend: The group is open to everyone. Share the registration link with families who may want to join.
